Changi Airport group AR/VR Safety Traiing
In collaboration with Changi Airport Group, we developed a few real-life scale AR / VR training applications. One of the applications allowed users to practice the safety set up at the parking bay with real-life scale items in an Augmented Reality environment. Though the trainees don't have the actual items in hand or are not at an actual parking bay, they can practice the placement easily from a mobile device. Another application allowed users to view the underground pipes easily from a mobile device, assisting workers In underground services. These are pioneering projects demonstrated how the latest AR / VR technology can be used for different types of training scenarios.
JAMK Cyber Security VR Training
In collaboration with JAMK University of Applied Sciences based in Central Finland, we developed this interactive virtual reality cybersecurity training experience. The experience allowed laymen to better understand the logic behind the cyber attack, as well as the precautions individuals can take to prevent future cyber attacks. The training package is now available for licensing for interested companies and organizations.
NTUC Compliance VR Training
Straits Interactive conducted PDPA compliance training sessions at various organizations, and part of the training was an interactive VR experience powered by Storyhive system. Users get to immerse themselves in a virtual office environment and identify PDPA violation points. This initiative was featured on Lianhe Zaobao.
Huge thanks to the team for working on this. It was really a pleasure working with you. You guys are one of the best vendors I've worked with - the amount of initiative and quality of ideas that come out from the team was really amazing. Not forgetting your speedy turnaround time! So thank you all!

I have worked very successfully with Hiverlab over the past few years on a heritage project based in Cyprus. Hiverlab is the perfect partner for scholars such as myself who are 'content-rich' but less well-versed in the innovative technologies and media to make the work truly impactful on both popular and pedagogical platforms. I will certainly continue to work with them. They are VERY highly recommended!

The advantage of this Storyhive VR programme is that it allows the trainers to communicate with a relatively large class and for the students to interact with one another, which is very difficult in a real-life dive situation. In this particular context, we can train a large number of people, not necessarily just employees, at the same time, yet maintain a level of interaction in instruction that cannot be achieved underwater. The demonstration of the VR prototype has been positive.
