Changi Airport Group VR AR Safety Training

In collaboration with Changi Airport Group, we developed a few real-life scale AR / VR training applications. One of the applications allows users to practice the safety set up at the parking bay with real-life scale items in an Augmented Reality environment. Even if the trainees don't have the actual items in hand or are not at an actual parking bay, they can practice the placement easily from a mobile device. Another application allows users to view the underground pipes easily from a mobile device, to assist workers on underground services. These are pioneering projects demonstrating how the latest AR / VR technology can be used for different types of training scenarios.

The advantage of this Storyhive VR programme is that it allows the trainers to communicate with a relatively large class and for the students to interact with one another, which is very difficult in a real-life dive situation. In this particular context, we can train a large number of people, not necessarily just employees, at the same time, yet maintain a level of interaction in instruction that cannot be achieved underwater.
