National Museum of Singapore International VR Content Showcase
A series of Virtual Reality (VR) experiences took center stage at the National Museum of Singapore for the first time in December 2017. The Virtual Reality Showcase, as part of DigiMuse, a larger digital initiative by the National Museum of Singapore, invited visitors to discover the best of VR creations of different genres from around the world. The journey brought audiences to explore endangered UNESCO sites, real contemporary issues, experiential artworks, art films, and acclaimed VR productions. As a VR System Partner, Hiverlab sponsored this event with our Storyhive multi-user VR screening system.
The event was also featured by Channel NewsAsia: Explore virtual reality at the National Museum of Singapore this weekend.

The advantage of this Storyhive VR programme is that it allows the trainers to communicate with a relatively large class and for the students to interact with one another, which is very difficult in a real-life dive situation. In this particular context, we can train a large number of people, not necessarily just employees, at the same time, yet maintain a level of interaction in instruction that cannot be achieved underwater. The demonstration of the VR prototype has been positive.
