Stamford Arts Center Reopening
Hiverlab developed 3 VR AR experiences for Stamford Arts Centre reopening, to help the general public better understand tradtitional arts.
The first piece is a Augmented Reality walking trail in SAC based on the latest AR Core technology, which turns Stamford Arts Center into a digital space where visitors can explore a variety of interactive elements which don't exist in the physical space.
The second piece is a Virtual Reality video tour of Chinese Opera backstage in collaboration with Tok Tok Chiang Wayang. This experience allows users to teleport themselves to the stage and backstage of Chinese Opera performance, and understand the set up.
The third piece is is a Virtual Reality dance in collaboration with Dancer Serene Tan and Visual Artist Edmund Loh. The live dance performance is also accompanied by the music performance by a Chinese Orchestra group.
"The SAC digital experiences have been getting quite a bit of attention from schools and other government agencies, and some other technologists with interest in the arts. Thanks for the good work! Praises all around! It was really a job well done on Hiverlab's part." Vinitha Jayaram, Manager (Digital Strategy) of National Arts Council.
